I am 23 and I am originally from Liverpool in the North West of England. I went to school and college in my local area and as soon as I turned 18 I went to work on the railways. This turned
into a four year long career, which I left in March 2009. I worked for numerous companies during my time in the railway industry including Virgin Trains and Wrexham & Shropshire, which is part of Deutsche Bahn in the UK.
I decided to leave the railway industry because of the belief that in order to find the best jobs I would have to keep moving around the country. I was based in Birmingham for Virgin Trains, Wrexham for Wrexham & Shropshire and Nottingham for East Midlands Trains. I grew tired of it and by chance one day i came across a company offering training courses for Tour Managers.
I took the course in 2009 and within four weeks I had been offered my first tour to Wimbledon. I am now working for a number of different Tour Operators including Newmarket Holidays and Omega Holidays and I get to see many different places. Along with a number of other Tour Managers I set up a company called Fresh Travel Management which became a Limited Company in February 2010.
